WHY AN ASSOCIATION ON VODOOWe are a cultural association based on Vodoo registered under the 1901 law. Our ambitions:
Create a communication forum on Vodoo, that patrimonial riches of which Benin is the craddle. We, through this way, try to ressucitate into the youth the pride of an identity. Our medium: a) a Journal le Vodoo, b) a vodoo gallery web site, of which we intend to make audio- visual.
a) The Vodoo Royal Tourism, in charge of preparing and receiving tourists, research intellectuals and candidates to initiation. a) Training traditional religious chiefs to mastering computer and internet. We also sensitise them to improve and modernise their domains.
The Vodoo Hall of Arts is a proposed documentary and reseach center.
The Orisha-duduwa Spiritual Temple is a proposed spiritual domain for initiation, training and assistance.The promoter, Eugene Koumagnon, 54 years old, is a marketing consultant and jounalist trained in Nigeria who now devotes his full time on the project.
This is an ambitious project that requires support and assistance of all those who share this noble objective.
WHY A WEB SITE ON VODOO
During this 21st century, Information and Communiation Technology has made the world a planetary village. Yet, traditional religions and their keepers remain marginalised in this domain. On Vodoo topics, many researches and publications continue to be added to the previous tons of volumes.
