GLOVODUN

GLOVODUN, Gold vodun, Cica vodun, the vodun of the cola

Referring to Genesis, chapter 32 of the holy bible, it is narrated how Aaron succumbed to the Israelites pressure who wanted another God to lead them as Moses was late coming back from Mt Sinai.

Gathering their gold jewels, they moulded and manufactured a gold bird and cow which they worshiped. The practice went down generations to black Africa.

In Ghana, the worship took the form of cola nuts as communion and oath taking with the gods.

Spread over the west coast of Africa, Glovodun was considered by successive as  a miracle cult to watch.

These days, initiation rituals into the cult is no longer the hard nut to shew, but its power remains effective in the hands of experienced chief priests.
